Fro 2 Tuesdays in a row, our power has gone out. It starts in the afternoon, basically the hottest part of the day. Last week, it was out for 5+ hours, which was great with a newborn and sick toddler. The house got kinda hot. This Tuesday, it was only out for 2 1/2 hours before it got fixed, so things didn't get as warm at home. Clearly, the higher electricity rates BGE has been charging aren't because they're upgrading the delivery system!
This Tuesday, we dined out as a family, since there wasn't any power to cook with. BabyKat visited her first restaurant and slept peacefully throughout most of the meal. What restaurant? Taco Bell! This was also Owen's first trip to a restaurant when he was a baby, which occurred for exactly the same reason (no power, too hot to stay home).

Kerry and I also had our first two Easter lunches after moving to the Holler at this particular Taco Bell. It is a real culinary landmark for us.
Wow, now our dinner delivery will be so much easier. Just pick up a couple chalupas, some burritos and tacos to go! I can at least say this about TB, Eric worked there a bit during his high school years and he can still eat there as an adult. That says something. Of course, I still love my Krystals and after working there I should know better. Darn those things are tasty though! Sorry about the continued outages. We've had two so far ourselves in the last month.
Sorryt o hear about the BGE power problems. A couple months back I paid $92 for electricity at the Grapevine Inn and it had been unoccupied for two months! This month? $19. What going on over there? Hugs for you all, Eric
